Key Responsibilities

  • Extensive project implementation work experience in Netbackup 6.x , 7.x servers
  • Capable of Handling Media Management tasks and NBU Monitoring + Operational tasks
  • Good Knowledge & experience of Virtual Tape Library, Quantum Tape Libraries, Storage Life Cycle Policy(SLP)
  • Performance management of Netbackup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 or more years of directly related experience.
  • Preffered - One or more platform certifications (Windows, UNIX, Linux) and/or vendor certifications (Veritas, Symantec, Cisco).
  • Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux, Veritas NetBackup and/or System Analysis/Design.
  • Good technical and analytical skills.
  • Able to organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic action plans, and incorporate time constraints and task priorities and take initiative and work with minimum direction in a high demand environment.
