Installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration
troubleshooting any issue related to databases
Support for multiple clients
Maintain databases availability as per multiple customer Service Level Agreements (SLA) with proper monitoring tools and services, within Statement of Work defined support services
Produce monthly reporting activity and explain any abnormal system performance
Assist/participate with appropriate teams in all phases of Production implementations
Perform database tuning activities where appropriate and within proper change process
Ensure that all documentation for the systems (build books and related documents) are updated after changes
Make recommendations to improve health of the database usage where necessary
Participate in various projects and work orders as assigned and complete assigned tasks on time
Respond to incident tickets and provide updates in a timely manner. Escalate where and when necessary
Coordinate and implement change records as a result of incidents tickets
Produce client regular reporting activities and explain any abnormal database performance
Reduce costs where expedient to do so without impacting service availability
Recommend efficiencies in the Database support group
